Workout Chic

When it comes to getting dressed every day I am for comfort. But sometimes a sweat set just isn’t quite nice enough. I give you, athleisure.

I’m really getting into my “fit girlie” era at the moment, so am always on the hunt for more workout clothes. But it doesn’t just stop there. I’m going for the whole vibe. Shoes, socks, water bottle, yoga mat, you name it. I present to you - workout chic.

Pointe Studio Happy Foot Full Sock

Some pilates are super strict on the whole sock thing. However, I find that there aren’t many cute options for pilates (grippy) socks. They’re either ugly af or sold by the studio for an insane price. Pointe Studio offers a huge variety of cute pilates socks for you to chose from. They even have different heights and toe covering options. I love the bright blue on these and I just know the smiley face would make me a little happier while I’m being tortured on the reformer.

P.E. Nation Backcheck Bike Short

Biker shorts > leggings. Always. Even in the dead of winter in Chicago when it’s negative five degrees outside. I’m not kidding, just ask my friend Ruby. I love the length on these biker shorts and the thin band on top is a nice added touch.

Free People Journey Ahead Vest

This vest gives me similar vibes to the Hit the Slopes fleece jacket. Buuuut 2024 is the year of being original and not buying in to the trend exactly. I love the color block style on the vest and the mix of materials. Super cute and a great neutral piece with personality.

Bombas Pointelle Frill Quarter Sock

I love the girly, bow, and frill trends going on. I am also a big fan of Bombas socks. They are durable without making my feet too warm. Plus, for every pair of socks purchased, one gets donated. I love these quarter socks that they made. They’re slightly different than many other styles that they sell, but oh so cute. This one specifically comes in a variety pack of 4 but they are sold individually as well if you’re vibin with just one color. And if frills aren’t it for you, I love these as well.

Rains Hilo Weekend Bag Small

Everybody needs a good gym bag. Especially if you’re frequently on-the-go. This overnight bag from Rains is the perfect size and not too bulky. It comes in a few color variations, neutral enough but with some personality. They have a bigger version too if you tend to overpack ;).

Upside Hype Linda Bra

I’m a huge fan of versatile pieces of clothing. The Linda Bra from the Upside will go great with many different bottoms. That’s because the bra is colorblocked, with black, navy and white. Perfect for mixing and matching.

Vuori Daily Legging

Vuori is one of the best athleisure brands, IMHO. They have fabulous customer service and I find that their pieces hold up. They tend to lean more simple and neutral with their designs, but I love them nonetheless. These leggings are so cute and have a cute drawstring feature at the top, making them slightly different from just any other black pair.

Sporty and Rich SRHWC Hat

I wish I could buy anything and everything from Sporty and Rich. Their designs are trendy enough but with multiple variations for any taste. This hat is great to throw over dirty hair or hide those red post-workout cheeks. Love.

On Running Cloudnova Void Sneaker

I’ve owned a few different pairs of On Running sneakers over the years. I tried the low-profile shoes and some taller, chunkier ones as well. My current favorites that I own are the Cloudmonsters. These are stunning as well. Next time I need a sneaker refresh, these will be my go to.

Tuckernut Green Trellis Yoga Mat

You can just tell who the cool girls are in the workout class based off of their yoga mat. Ya know, the girls with the Bala or Alo ones. Well, this green picnic pattern yoga mat is right on par with some of the cool others. Such a fun color and pattern and a great way to add some personality to an otherwise benign accessory. Make sure to grab the coordinated yoga mat strap to complete the look.

Bkr Puff Big Bottle 1L

Bkr is arguably one of the most sleek and aesthetic water bottles on the market. They’re made of glass which is great but also have silicone protection on the bottle, so it won’t break. The Bkr comes in many different sizes and colors, along with bumpy or smooth options. And if you prefer a straw top, they have that too.

Yllw The Label Billie Bodysuit

I have mixed feelings on the onesie/unitard thing going on. I don’t always love how they look on me, but appreciate the thought of the outfit. I do however like this one from Yllw The Label. The white detailing sets it apart from others out there and also breaks up the onesie a bit.

Beyond Yoga Featherweight Peekaboo Crop Top

The cutest little workout top from Beyond Yoga. I personally hate working out in just a bra and usually need a tank or tee to throw over. I love this one because it’s tight enough and hits right at the top of your leggings. Definitely going to be purchasing soon!
