Cashew Cream

This vegan cashew cream is simple, delicious, and oh-so-creamy. Plus it’s easy to make, requiring only a blender. Even better, the cashews in the cream provide you with some added nutrients, making this an all-around great addition to your meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1 lime, juiced (optional)

  • Pinch sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add your cashews, water, and optional seasonings to a high-speed blender. For this specific recipe, I seasoned the cream with lime juice and sea salt, as it went best with what I’m using it for. If you’re going to make a big batch, I recommend just cashews and water, then seasoning prior to use.

  2. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, until smooth.

  3. Store in the fridge in an airtight container until ready for use.
